Held Wednesday--March 25, 1953
The Council met in the Council Chamber at City Hall at
10~00 A.M. on the above date, with the following CouncJl.~n present:
Councilmen Riesland, Hobel, Logan, DeWolfe, Nalferty
Absent: Council.~n - Nor~
Also present: Chief Administrative Officer Bryant, City
E~gineer Floyd, City planner Wagner
APPOIFr~T OF ADMINISTRATIVE (~FICER
It was moved by Councilman Hobel, seconded by Councilman DeWolfe, and
carried, that City Engineer Floyd be appointed to the position of
Administrative Officer, said appointment to take effect July 1, 1953.
The motion carried, by the following vote, to-wit:
ATES: Councilmen Hobel, Riesland, DeWolfe, Halferty, Logan
Noes: None
Abeent: None
APPOINTMENT OF ADNINISTRATIVE OFFICER PRO-TEM
It was moved by Councilman DeWolfe, seconded by Councilman Riasland,
and carried, that City Engineer Floyd consider City Planner Wagner as
Administrative Officer P~o-~em, and that he act in this capacity while
continuing as City Planner, and that Chief Administrative Officer Bryant
be instructed to acquaint both City Engineer Floyd and City planner Wagner
with the duties of his position. Also that steps be taken to establish
the position of Administrative Assistant.
It was suggested by C~i~f Administrative Officer Bryant, that the Council
plan on having the mat%er of the removal of the position of Administrative
Assistant from Civil Bervice put on the April, 1954 ballot.
Chief A~mtn/strative Officer Bryant appointed City planner Wagner as
Administrative Officer Pro-Tern, effective July 1, 1953. City Engineer
Floyd agreed to continue the appointment as of the above date.
D TRAILER~URTO~DINANCE
City Planner Wagner read the first eight pages of the trailer court
ordinance, w~ich were then discussed by the Council. It was decided
that the remainder of the ordinance should be studied and taken up at
the next meeting.
ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Councilman Halferty, seconded by Councilman Riesland,
and carried, that the meeting adjourn, sine die.'
