ing that the City no longer maintain sewer laterals in the City, Mayor Menzel opened
the topic for discussion. The Council was generally in accord with the Engineer's
recommendations, but thought some consideration should be given the property owner
where sewers are plugged by the foots of trees planted in parking strips. It was
pointed out that effective date of the new order, if approved, should not be until
July 1st at the earliest, in order that plenty of publicity can be given the matter.
