What is Redistricting
•In 2012, Chula Vista voters passed a measure to require that districts be established from which the City’s Councilmembers will be elected.
•Occurs every decade following census
•Seven appointed Commissioners will recommend new district maps
•Community input is necessary
•City Council will approve district maps in December 2021

Discuss, revise and approved recommended map
