OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Chula Vista, California
Held Wednesday March 20, 1957
The Council of the City of Chula Vista met at 9:30 Ao~
in the Council Chambers of the City Hall on the above date,
the special meeting of March 19th having been adjourned to
this time.
The following Councilmen were present:
Councilmen Rader~ Smith, DeGraaf, Dillon, DeWolfe
Absent: None
Also present: City Ad~inistrator Wade, City Finance Officer
Grant, Planning Co~mission Secretary Stonehouse
RESOLUTION No. 1933
Acknowledging receipt of notice of intention
to circulate annexation petition and approv-
ing circulation of petition for Industrial
Landn Moo 2 Annexation,
Offered by Councilman S~ith, read in full, passed, adopted
and approved by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Smith, DeGraaf, Dillon
Noes: Councilman DeWolfe
Absent: None
Councilman Rader abstained from voting.
ACTION O~ ~ASEY ZONE VARIANCE APPEAL
Pl&aning Secretary Stonehouse explained that the building
inspector had refused to issue & building permit to Casey
Construction Company because the Planning Co~nission had
granted a zone variance with a fifteen foot set back on Alpine
Avenue and Maples Street, and a ten foot set back on Moss Street.
The plans Mr. Casey brought to the inspector showed a ten foot
set back on Alpine Avenue and Naples Street, and an eight foot
set back on Moss Street, supposedly approved by the Council.
~ne inspector desired a clarification from the Council.
It was moved by Councl&man Smith, seconded by Councilman
DeWolfe, and carried, that the Council clarify the action of
its last meeting by stating that ~r. Casey shall comply with
the set backs as granted by the Planning Conission.
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor I~Graaf adjourned ,the meeting at 10:40 AoX. until
March 26, 1957 at 7:00
