OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
Chula Vista, California
Held Tuesday February 17, 1959
The Council of the City of Chula Vista met at 7:00 P.Mo
in the Council Chambers at the City Hall on the above date,
pursuant to:
"Consent for holding Special Meeting
for the purpose of discussion and possible
action on proposed Olivewood Acres Annexa-
tion''
The following Councilmen were present:
Councilmen McAllister, Smith, Menzel, DeGraaf, McMains
Absent: None
Also present: City Attorney Kugler, City Engineer Floyd,
Administrative-Analyst Ross, City Planner Fretz
Mayor Menzel led the salute to the Flag, and asked for a
moment of prayer.
~,~LIVEWOOD ACRES ANNEXATION
Discussion on the proposed Olivewood Acres Annexation
centered on the drainage problem presented by the development of
the valley area and the proposed Belt-line Freeway.
A report was read from the City Engineer's office with
regard to flood hazards and sewering possibilities in the proposed
Olivewood Acres annexation.
A land plan of development proposed for the area to be
annexed was presented, together with a map outlining the boundaries
of the proposed annexation.
It was moved by Councilman DeGraaf, seconded by
Councilman Smith, and carried, that the boundaries as shown on the
map of the proposed Olivewood Acres Annexation be approved.
RESOLUTION No. 2183 - Giving notice of proposed Olivewood Acres
Annexation
Offered by Councilman DeGraaf, read in full, passed,
adopted and approved by the following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen DeGraaf, McMains, McAllister, Smith, Menzel
Noes: None
Absent: None
ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Menzel adjourned the meeting at 8:15 PoM. until
February 24th at 7:00 P.M.
