State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF FEBRUARY 6, 2019 AND MAY 1, 2019 2. RESOLUTION OF THE SAFETY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL APPROVE THE PERMANENT CLOSURE OF MOSS STREET, BETWEEN ALPINE AVENUE AND NAPLES STREET AND ALPINE AVENUE BETWEEN MOSS STREET AND NAPLES STREET TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW FIRE STATION NO. 9 RESOLUTION OF THE SAFETY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE REMOVAL OF STOP CONTROL ON THE NAPLES STREET APPROACHES AT THE INTERSECTION OF NAPLES STREET AND FIRST AVENUE, AND TO ACCORDINGLY AMEND SCHEDULE II OF THE REGISTER OF SCHEDULES MAINTAINED IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY ENGINEER 3. RESOLUTION OF THE SAFETY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ESTABLISHING TEMPORARY PERPENDICULAR PARKING ALONG BOTH SIDES OF “D” STREET, WEST OF WOODLAWN AVENUE OTHER BUSINESS 4.
