hi.
agenda item 5.1 adressess the homeless/camping issue around frontage and anita.
while homeless camping around frontage and anita is certainly an issue. parking chaos is rampant on all of the
streets in the fruitclale/salt district.
if its not already, i would like to expand agenda item 5.1 to include parking control on all of the salt district/fruitclale
streets.
there are only 7 streets in the salt district. 5 of the 7 streets have parking anarcy.
while time limited parking is a welcome addition on frontage and anita, there are 4 streets that have no markings
on the street at all: anita, elise, clorthy and ada. a welcome addition to agenda item 5.1 is to propose marking the
unmarked streets. markings on these streets would help drivers see where the road shoulder is and where off
street parking is.
additionally it would be nice for parking patrol to pass through the salt district streets occasionally they would
quickly find: abandon/dumped vehicles, unregistered vehicles, and double parking

1 would like to propose the times parking be allowed to begin at 6AM rather than 8AM. It's a nice trail and many
people use it for exercise before work. 8AM timeframe would make it difficult to use the trail before work.
