IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EXECUTIVE ORDER, THE PUBLIC MAY VIEW THE MEETING ONLINE AND NOT IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS. The commenting period will be open shortly after the agenda is published for a particular meeting and will remain open through the meeting, as described below. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS Communication from Commissioner Korgan requesting an excused absence from the May 10, 2021 Sustainability Commission meeting Staff Recommendation: Commission approve the absence 3.3. APPROVAL TO GRANT AUTHORITY TO THE SUSTAINABILITY COMMISSION CHAIR TO SEND THE ATTACHED MEMORANDUM TO THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL AS A RECOMMENDATION IN SUPPORT FOR ASSEMBLY BILL 881 Staff Recommendation: Commission approve the memorandum and grant the authority to the chair to transmit to the Mayor and City Council 4. PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons may address the Commission on any subject matter within the Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. DISCUSSION AND ACTION ON THE PROPOSED REVISIONS TO AMEND CHULA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 2.32.060 "MEMBERSHIP"TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF COMMISSIONERS SERVING IN THE SUSTAINABILITY COMMISSION FROM SEVEN TO NINE Staff Recommendation: Commission approve the proposed revisions and forward to City Council for approval 6.2.
