Dronenburg, Jr., ECRDER City Clerk's OffiTY ce SAN DIEGO CO SB2 Atk ns:$0 00) City of Chula Vista FEES. $0.00 276 Fourth Avenue PAGES: 6 Chula Vista,CA 91910 Fee Exempt- Gov't Code 6103 This space for Recorder's use only RESOLUTION NO. 2021-054 (*W RESOLUTION NO. 2021-054 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ORDERING THE SUMMARY VACATION OF A PORTION OF AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR OPEN SPACE AND OTHER PUBLIC PURPOSES OF LOT"A" PER FINAL MAP NO. 16291, CHULA VISTA TRACT NO. 15-0007, OTAY RANCH PLANNING AREA 12 WHEREAS, an Irrevocable Offer of Dedication (IOD) in Fee Interest of Lot "A" was acknowledged by the City of Chula Vista for Open Space and Other Public Purposes as shown on Final Map No. 16291, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County on August 22, 2019; and WHEREAS, this action will vacate a portion of said existing IOD as described in Exhibits A and B attached hereto and made a part hereof; and WHEREAS, with the proposed vacation, Baldwin & Sons (Developer) can complete a Lot Line Adjustment (LLA) between Lots 1, 2 and A of Map No 16291 to accommodate the Marriott Courtyard construction, outside the constraints of the existing lot lines; and #AW WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 7050 of the California Government Code and Chapter 4, Section 8335 of the California Streets and Highways Code, this type of vacation may be performed through adoption of a resolution of vacation by the City Council and recordation of a certified copy of the resolution attested to by the City Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista hereby orders the vacation of a portion of Irrevocable Offer of Dedication for open space and other public purposes of Lot A, according to final map thereof No. 16291, per attached Exhibits A and B, incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista directs the City Clerk to cause a certified copy of the resolution of vacation, attested by the City Clerk, without acknowledgement or further proof, to be recorded in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County.
