The commenting period will be open shortly after the agenda is published for a particular meeting and will remain open through the meeting, as described below. All comments will be available to the public and the Human Relations Commission using the eComment portal. Comments must be received prior to the time the Chair calls for the close of the commenting period. Comments received after such time will not be considered by the Human Relations Commission. Staff Recommendation: Commission excuse the absences. 4.PRESENTATIONS The following item(s) will be presentations given by staff. Action on these item(s) is typically limited to the Commission receiving the presentation and providing direction or feedback to staff, as appropriate. 4.1.OVERVIEW OF CHULA VISTA SMART CITY PROGRAMS Presenter: Chief Sustainability Officer Gakunga Staff Recommendation: Hear the presentation and provide input. 4.2.QUALITY OF LIFE INDICATORS FOR THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA Presenter: Growth Management Oversight Commission Staff Liaisons Facilities Financing Manager Elliott and Associate Planner Vander Bie Staff Recommendation: Hear the presentation and provide input. 5.PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons may address the Commission on any subject matter within the Commission’s jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff.
