All votes were taken by roll call. CALL TO ORDER A Regular Meeting of the Board of Library Trustees of the City of Chula Vista was called to order at 4:09 p.m. in the Civic Center Library, located at 365 F Street, Chula Vista, California and by teleconference. ROLL CALL PRESENT: Trustees Bruder, Moreno, and Swanson; Chair Ellison ABSENT: Vice -Chair Rubel ALSO PRESENT: City Librarian Whatley, Principal Librarian Sannwald, Senior Librarian Hamlin, Senior Librarian Mendez, and Board Secretary Cheung CONSENT CALENDAR Chair Ellison called for a two -minute pause to allow members of the public to submit any final electronic comments on items on the consent calendar. STAFF COMMENTS a) City Librarian Whatley introduced new Senior Librarians, Alyson Hamlin and Laura Mendez. b) City Librarian Whatley requested Trustees participate in the City's survey to revamp City Council & Commission agendas to make them more accessible. C) City Librarian Whatley informed the Board that the Chula Vista Public Library Foundation is on hiatus. The CVPL Foundation has openings for Board Members. d) City Librarian Whatley provided updates on library activities. 5. CHAIR'S COMMENTS Chair Ellison inquired about the status of the Friendship Park Deck.
