PURSUANT TO THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'S EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20, AND IN THE
INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND STAFF MAY PARTICIPATE
IN THIS MEETING VIA TELECONFERENCE.
The City is offering the option for attendees to provide live public comment, in addition to eComment, during the April 20
Council Meeting. Those wishing to provide public comments in person are required to wear masks and follow posted social
distancing guidelines. The City will offer seating and options to view the meeting in City Council Chambers and in the City
Hall lobby in Building A. The City will monitor capacity limits and social distancing for attendees in these areas.
This intended plan may be modified without notice depending upon expected attendance or changing circumstances prior
to or at the meeting. The City’s intent is to maximize safe, live access to the Council meeting. Please visit
www.chulavistaca.gov/cityclerk or call 619-691-5041 for the most updated information.
HOW TO WATCH: We request those who do not wish to make a live comment watch the meeting remotely via livestream at
https://chulavista.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx, on AT&T U-verse channel 99 (throughout the County), and on Cox Cable
channel 24 (only in Chula Vista). Recorded meetings are also aired on Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (both channels) and are
archived on the City's website.
HOW TO SUBMIT ELECTRONIC COMMENTS: Visit the online eComment portal for this meeting at:
https://chulavista.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx. The commenting period will be open shortly after the agenda is published
will remain open through the meeting. All comments will be available to the public and the City Council using the
eComment portal. Comments must be received prior to the time the Mayor calls for the close of the commenting period.
Comments received after such time will not be considered by the City Council. If you have difficulty or are unable to submit
a comment, please contact the City Clerk's Office at cityclerk@chulavistaca.gov or (619) 691-5041.
