HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2021-025 RESOLUTION NO. 2021-025 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE 2021 ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE DOWNTOWN CHULA VISTA PROPERTY-BASED BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Chula Vista established a Third Avenue Property-Based Improvement District (PBID) on July 24, 2001; and WHEREAS, the PBID was renewed in 2006 for an additional ten years; and WHEREAS, the PBID was renewed in 2016 and is currently in its fifth year of another ten-year term (for the period January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2026); and WHEREAS, the Third Avenue Village Association (TAVA) is the owners association for the PBID; and WHEREAS, TAVA is required by the California Streets and Highways Code to prepare an annual report for City Council consideration; and WHEREAS, TAVA has submitted its annual report for Fiscal Year January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021 and filed it with the City Clerk. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista that it approves TAVArt for the Downtown Chula Vista Property-Based Improvement District. \[SIGNATURES ON THE FOLLOWING PAGE\] Resolution No. 2021-025 Page No. 2 Presented by Approved as to form by Eric C.
