275 new cases per day, down from 330 when we met last week.
41% increase in COVID‐19 confirmed hospitalized patients over 30 days
13% increase in COVID‐19 confirmed hospitalized patients over 14 days
1 % increase in confirmed hospitalized patients over 7 days
Numbers are still increasing but the rate of increase has slowed.

Chula Vista case rate continues to rise.
The data analyzed for this period was Dec. 27 – Jan. 2.
In the next two weeks, we should see these numbers begin to drop.
San Diego County remains under the Stay at Home Order

Testing
Averaging 3,189 tests/week
Roughly 640 tests/day
Conducted more than 35,000 tests since October

Averaging just under 3,200 tests/week in the last two weeks, which is about 640 tests per day
Since October, when we first opened, we’ve conducted more than 35,000 tests.
Compliance/Enforcement

Currently, 49 active cases. Of those 49 active cases,
18 businesses issued notices of violation and notice of pending civil penalties
5 gyms
5 restaurants
5 personal care services
2 churches
1 bar/cocktail lounge
4 businesses have been issued civil penalties (all are gyms)
With the assistance of the County of San Diego and the Sheriff’s Department, 19 Cease and Desist orders have been issued in total.
This is 9 more since we last met and 7 of those were issued in a sweep last week.
Vaccination Phases

**Effective 01/18/21, healthcare workers, others in Phase 1A (all Tiers), and those aged 75 and older may visit County vaccination sites, including the Petco Park Super Station.
For those 65 and older, the County intends to begin vaccinations for this population before the end of the month, pending vaccine supply.
Doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers may administer vaccinations to those 65 and older, if they have doses available.
CVFD personnel are in the process of receiving their second vaccine doses this week.
