1. AARP LEGISLATIVE AGENDA
Blanca Castro, AARP Advocacy Director and Sacramento Metro Manager, will provide an
update on the Advocacy issues AARP worked on in 2020 and what they are focusing on in
2021.
Staff recommendation: Commission hear the presentation and provide direction to staff as
appropriate.
2. PROPOSITION 68 STATEWIDE PARK PROGRAM
City staff will provide an overview of grant applications being submitted for the: 1)
construction of Patty Davis Neighborhood Park (west end of D Street); and 2)
th
improvements at Eucalyptus Park (C Street and 4 Avenue). The presentation will include
a virtual design charette to solicit feedback on community recreation desires at the parks.
Staff recommendation: Commission hear the presentation and provide feedback to staff.

ADJOURNMENT to a special meeting of the Healthy Chula Vista Advisory Commission
scheduled for December 10, 2020 at 4 p.m. and a regular meeting of the
Commission on Aging scheduled for January 13, 2020 at 1p.m.
