RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE
INTERCEPTOR VEHICLES FROM WONDRIES FLEET
GROUP
WHEREAS, in December 2018, the City issued a Request for Bid (RFB # B17-18/19) for
12 units of 2020 Interceptor Utility Pursuit Vehicles for the Police Department; and
WHEREAS, Wondries Fleet Group was selected because they are the lowest bidder at
$42,684 per vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department is seeking approval to purchase twenty-two (22) more
units of 2020 Interceptor Utility Pursuit Vehicles at the bid price; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for twenty-two (22) Ford Utility Hybrid Police Interceptors is
$939,057.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Chula Vista,
that it approves the purchase of Police Interceptor Vehicles from Wondries Fleet Group.
