IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EXECUTIVE ORDER, THE PUBLIC MAY VIEW THE MEETING ONLINE AND NOT IN THE CONFERENCE ROOM C-101 BUILDING A. HOW TO SUBMIT COMMENTS: Visit the online eComment portal for this meeting at: https://chulavista.granicusideas.com/meetings. The commenting period will be open shortly after the agenda is published for a particular meeting and will remain open through the meeting, as described below. All comments will be available to the public and the Sustainability Commission using the eComment portal. Comments must be received prior to the time the Chair calls for the close of the commenting period. Comments received after such time will not be considered by the Sustainability Commission. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS Memorandum from Commissioner Korgan requesting an excused absence from the meeting of March 9, 2020. Staff recommendation: Commission excuse the absences. 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of the meeting on March 9, 2020. Staff recommendation: Commission approve the minutes. PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons may address the Board/Commission on any subject matter within the Board/Commission’s jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. MULTIFAMILY AND COMMERCIAL ENERGY BENCHMARKING AND CONSERVATION ORDINANCE Staff recommendation: Commission review, discuss and submit a recommendation to the City Council. 7. RENAMING CLEAN SUSTAINABILITY CHAMPION AWARDS. Staff recommendation: Commission approve proposed name change. 8. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING OSCAR ROMO TO CONTINUE SERVING AS THE SUSTAINABILITY COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE ON THE MEASURE P CITIZENS’ OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE OR NOMINATING ANOTHER MEMBER OR MEMBERS TO BE CONSIDERED TO SERVE AS THE REPRESENTATIVE Staff recommendation: Commission discuss and take action as appropriate.
