Notice is hereby given that the Mayor of the City of Chula Vista has called and will convene Special Meetings of the
Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency and the Housing Authority meeting jointly with the City Council at
the time and location stated on this agenda.
PURSUANT TO THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA'S EXECUTIVE ORDER N-29-20, AND IN THE
INTEREST OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY, MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND STAFF MAY PARTICIPATE
IN THIS MEETING VIA TELECONFERENCE. IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EXECUTIVE ORDER, THE PUBLIC MAY

Environmental Notice: The Development Services Director has determined that the proposed
Project was adequately covered in the previously adopted Urban Core
Specific Plan (UCSP) Final Environmental Impact Report and Mitigation
Monitoring and Reporting Program FEIR 06-01, certified by the Chula Vista
City Council in May 2007 and the addendum to UCSP FEIR 06-01 adopted
by City Council on August 16, 2016.
In accordance with California Government Code Section 65457 (a), the
proposed residential development project is being undertaken to implement
and is consistent with the UCSP, and the environmental impact report
(FEIR 06-01) was certified in May 2007 (after January 1, 1980). As a result,
the proposed project is exempt from the requirements of Division 13
(commencing with Section 21000) of the Public Resources Code (California
Environmental Quality Act).
Recommended action: Council conduct the public hearing and adopt the resolutions.
