HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1986-12528 RESOLUTION NO. 12528 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA DECLARING THE COUNCIL'S INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF PUBLIC ALLEY LYING WITHIN SDG&E PROPERTY NORTH OF PALOMAR STREET AND WEST OF INDUSTRIAL BOULEVARD AND SETTING THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING FOR SAID VACATION The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby resolve as follows: WHEREAS, Gretler-Gardner Enterprises, the lessees of the San Diego Gas and Electric Company property between Industrial Blvd. and I-5 freeway north of Palomar Street, have made application to the City for vacation of that portion of a public alley lying within the property in order to expand their R.V. storage facility now operating on the westerly portion of the property, and WHEREAS, in accordance with Part 3, Chapter 3, Section 8320 of the California Streets and Highways Code, the City Council must adopt a resolution of intention to vacate the subject alley and set a date for the public hearing, WHEREAS, a description of the general location and extent of the public alley to be vacated is shown in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as if set forth in full. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby set 7:00 p.m., on the 8th day of July, 1986, in the Council Chambers, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published once in the Chula Vista Star News, a newspaper of general circulation published within the City of Chula Vista, and to cause notices of the passage of this resolution to be posted in the manner and form required by law.
