RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHULA
VISTA ACCEPTING, DEDICATING AND NAMING CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY IN SAID CITY FOR STREET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES
LOCATED ON "D" STREET BETWEEN SECOND AVENUE AND
MINOT AVENUE
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
city of Chula Vista that that certain grant of real property, made
by easement , executed by Daniel H. and Linda C.
.Josephson
dated the 26th day of April , 1986 , a copy of
which is at-~hed hereto and by reference made a part hereof, the
same as though fully set forth herein be; and the same is hereby
accepted and dedicated to the public use for street and highway
purposes by the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said real property is hereby
officially named "D" STREET
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Chula Vista be,.and she is hereby authorized to record said grant
deed in the office of the San Diego County Recorder.

do{es) hereby grant, convey and dedicate to the CITY OF CHULA VISTA, State of
California, the right-of-way and incidents thereto for a public street upon, over and
across that certain real property in the City of Chula Vista, County of San Diego, State
of California, described as follows:
A portion of Lot 33 of the Rosebank Subdivision according to Map No. 1304 filed
in the Office of the County Recorder, San Diego County on January 18, 1911,
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot 33 of the Rosebank Subdivision; thence
northerly along the westerly line of said Lot 33 having a radius of 191.40 feet
which bears North 59°07'39" East per Parcel Map No. 3030 filed in said County
Recorder's Office, through a central angle of 19°14'00'', concave easterly, an
arc length of 64.25 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 33; thence along
the northerly line of Lot 33 North 70055'58'' East 5.55 feet; thence southerly
along a curve concave easterly having a radius of 95.17 feet which bears North
77°36'24'' East, through a central angle of 22°45'14'' an arc length of 37.79
feet; thence along the tangent to said curve South 35°8'50'' East 27.56 feet to
the intersection with the southerly line of Lot 33, thence along the southerly
line of Lot 33 South 70°55'58'' West 13.82 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Area = 584.8 SF or 0.0134 Acres
The Grantor hereby further grants to the City' of Chula Vista the privilege and right to
extend drainage structures and excavation and embankment slopes beyond the limits of the
herein described right-of-way where required for the construction and maintenance of
said public street. RESERVING unto grantor of the above described parcel of land, his
successors or assigns, the right to eliminate such slopes and/or drainage structures or
portions thereof, when in the written opinion of the City Engineer of Grantee, the
necessity therefore is removed by substituting other protection, support and/or drainage
facility, provided such substitution is first approved in writing by said City Engineer.
lh~ Grantor hereby further grants to. Grantee all trees, growths (growing or that may
hereafter grow), and road building materials within said right-of-way, including the
right to take water, together with the right to use the same in such manner and at such
locations as said Grantee may deem proper, needful or necessary, in the construction,
reconstruction, improvement or maintenance of said public street.
The Grantor, for himself, his successors and assigns, hereby waives any claim for any
and all damages to Grantor's remaining property contiguous to the right-of-way hereby
conveyed by reason of the location, construction, landscaping or maintenance of said
public street.
