RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA TRANSFERRING LAUDERBACH PARK AND
WOODLAWN PARK CENTER FROM THE COUNTY OF SAN
DIEGO TO THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA PURSUANT TO
CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 56470(h)
The City Council of the City of Chula Vista does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, on February 11, 1986, the Board of Supervisors
of the County of San Diego approved a resolution transferring two
park properties, Lauderbach Park and Woodlawn Park Center, from
the County to the City in conjunction with the Montgomery
Annexation, and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate for the City of Chula
Vista to accept the grant deed for the parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Chula Vista does accept the grant deed from the
County of San Diego conveying to the City of Chula Vista
Lauderbach Park (Parcel No. 75-0424) and Woodlawn Park Center
(Parcel No. 77-0675), dated the llth day of February, 1986, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference as if set forth in full.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of
Chula Vista be, and he is hereby authorized to execute the
acceptance statement attached to the grant deed for and on behalf
of the City of Chula Vista.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City
of Chula Vista be, and she is hereby directed to record the grant
deed in the office of the San Diego County Recorder.
