C 276 Fourth Avenue CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL: Commissioners Carbuccia, Gonzales, Co-Chair Fish and Chair Gersten CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 1-3) The Commission will enact the Consent Calendar staff recommendations by one motion, without discussion, unless a Commissioner, a member of the public, or staff requests that an item be removed for discussion. Items pulled from the Consent Calendar will be discussed immediately following the Consent Calendar. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of December 5, 2019 Staff recommendation: Commission approves the minutes. 2. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS A. Request for excused absence for Commissioner Starr and Chair Gersten from the October 3, 2019 regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission. Staff recommendation: Commission approves the absences. B. Request for excused absence for Commissioner Carbuccia and Co-Chair Fish from the November 7, 2019 regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission. Staff recommendation: Commission approves the absences. C. Request for excused absence for Commissioner Gonzales from the December 5, 2019 regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission. Staff recommendation: Commission approves the absence. 3. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF THE PROMULGATION OF THE ELIGIBLE LISTS: A. Assistant Engineer, Promotional (RECRUITMENT #19601510P) B. Senior Civil Engineer, Construction Management and Inspection Option (RECRUITMENT #19601910CM) Staff recommendation: Commission approves the promulgation of the eligible lists. PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Commission on any agenda matter within the Commission’s jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes. ACTION ITEMS The item(s) listed in this section of the agenda will be considered individually by the Commission and are expected to elicit discussion and deliberation. If you wish to speak on any item, please advise the Chairperson prior to the meeting. 4. CONSIDERATION TO ABOLISH THE FOLLOWING ELIGIBILE LIST PER THE CIVIL SERVICE RULE 1.04 I (3). A.
