CALL TO ORDER
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL: Chair Torres, Vice Chair Sears, Commissioners Mueller, Wym1e, Balolong,
Larkin and Bartlett.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approval of Minutes from July 17, 2019
Recommendation: Commission approve minutes
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Board/Commission on any subject
matter within the Board/Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda.
State law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking action on any
issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission may schedule the
topic for facture discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes.
ACTION ITEMS
2. VETERANS ACTIVITY REPORT
Vice Chair Sears to provide additional information on any upcoming events and
services for veterans.
3. CITY WEBSITE UPDATE
Commissioner Larkin to provide a resource link for veterans to possibly add to
the city website.
4. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2019/2020
Recommended Action: The committee nominate and elect a chair and vice chair for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2020.
5. VETERAN OF THE YEAR APPLICATIONS
Recommended Action: Commission to review VOY applications

members. No action is expected to be taken by the Committee on these items. If any member
of the public wishes to speak on any item,please fill out a "Request to Speak"form and
submit it to the Secretary prior to the meeting.
