Danny's Story is an interactive play inspired by LGBTQ+ youth in San
Diego. Danny is a transgender high schooler who makes the brave
decision to pursue his true identity. Audiences witness his coming of
age, as Danny moves to a new school in search of belonging, forcing
members of his family and community to face their own assumptions
and bias. Through role-play and discussion the show is designed to
equip high school youth to advocate for their peers in the midst of
conflict, while deepening an understanding of LGBTQ+ youth
populations. The program includes pre-show workshops scheduled a

"Untold" - Touring High Schools April 27-May 8, 2020
This gripping play weaves music, movement, and the exact words and
stories of real people to explore the mental health crisis in America,
where it's estimated that 1 in 4 people will struggle with mental illness
during their lifetime. Based on interviews with therapists, individuals
facing addiction, veterans battling PTSD, and the survivors of suicide,
Untold provocatively portrays their bravery, vulnerability, and
resiliency. The show directly challenges the stigma of mental illness,
and provides an opportunity to connect students to local resources
and services. The show is appropriate for 9-12th grade students and
intergenerational community audiences. To learn more visit our
website.
