CALL TO ORDER
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
ROLL CALL: Chair Torres, Vice Chair Sears, Commissioners Mueller, Wynne, Balolong,
Larkin and Bartlett.
CONSENT CALENDAR
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Approval of Minutes from March 20, 2019
Recommendation: Commission approve minutes
PUBLIC COMMENTS:
Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Board/Commission on any subject
matter within the Board/Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda.
State law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking action on any
issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission may schedule the
topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes.
ACTION ITEMS
2. VOY INFORMATION
a. Commissioner Bartlett to provide information on the Veterans of Coalition VOY
timeline. Commissioner Balolong to also provide an update on San Diego
Veterans Museum VOY timeline.
STAFF PRESENTATIONS
The items listed in this section of the agenda will consist of presentations by City staff
members. No action is expected to be taken by the Committee on these items. If any member
of the public wishes to speak on any item,please fill out a "Request to Speak"form and
submit it to the Secretary prior to the meeting.
3. CITY WEBSITE UPDATE
a. Update on cities authorization to add a list of websites that give information on events
for veterans around the county. (Capt. Thunberg, Chula Vista Police Department)
4. FALLEN HEROES BANNERS
a. Uppdate from Councilmember McCann on when the banners can be pert up. (Capt.
Thunberg, Chula Vista Police Department)
