Climate Chanize Working Group February 20th, 2019 3:00 pm CALL TO ORDER REGULAR MEETING OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE WORKING GROUP (CCWG) OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA Parkway Community Center 373 Park Way, Chula Vista ROLL CALL: Chair Legaspi, Vice Chair Ruvalcaba, Daniel Zaragoza, Tim McNamara, Debbie Discar- Espe, Nick Lee, Rich D'Ascoli, Hugo Mora, Todd Galarneau, Allison Wood, Randy Van Vleck, Michael Simonsen, Moriah Saldana, Eric Drabb, Sue Mosburg, Lindsey Hawes, Sophie Wolfram. MOTION TO EXCUSE — none APPROVAL OF MINUTES of the meeting on November 19, 2018 Staff recommendation: Commission approve the minutes. PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Board/Commission on any subject matter within the Board/Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes. INFORMATION ITEMS 1. Welcome & Introductions — Chair Legaspi 2. Closing Remarks — Chair Legaspi OTHER BUSINESS 1. STAFF'S COMMENTS Staff would like to invite all CCWG members and any interested members of the public to participate in a preview of the Climate Action Plan website currently being created to support the Chula Vista Climate Action Challenge. Staff will be available at the Parkway Community Center to from 5:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Items under Staff Comments are informational items being relayed from the department director or staff liaisons. These items are not expected to be discussed or commented on by the board or commission. If staff anticipates the board or commission will have additional questions or want to discuss andlor possibly take action, the item should instead be listed under Action Items. ADJOURNMENT to the regular meeting on May 22nd, 2019 (tentative).
