Items pulled from the Consent Calendar will be discussed immediately following the Consent Calendar. 1.CONSIDERATION OF REQUEST FOR EXCUSED ABSENCE Email from Commissioners R. Godinez and P. Branch requesting and excused absence from the October 25, 2018 regular Human Relations Commission. Staff recommendation: Commission excuses the absence. PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Board/Commission on any subject matter within the Board/Commission’s jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State City of Chula Vista Boards & Commissions Human Relations Commission 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF OCTOBER 25, 2018 Staff recommendation: Commission approves minutes. Notice is hereby given that the Chair of the Human Relations Commission of the City of Chula Vista has called and will convene a Special Meeting of Human Relations Commission on Thursday, January 24th, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Chula Vista City Hall, Executive Conference Room103 at 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California to consider the items on this agenda. law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff.Comments are limited to three minutes.
