RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHULA VISTA TRANSFERRING $55,000 FROM CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT DR-127 TO STL-285 (QUINTARD
STREET) TO FINANCE PRECONSTRUCTION COSTS
WHEREAS, the Quintard Street project consists of construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk
and driveway aprons, resuffacing and widening of the existing asphalt pavement, and installation
of mailboxes and streetlights along Quintard Street between Third and Fourth Avenues; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of this project is estimated to be $329,882, including $309,882
for design and construction and $20,000 for planning; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to transfer $55,000 in order to finance preconstrucfion costs
such as planning, design and surveying; and
WHEREAS, it is estimated that property owners will repay $67,976 of the cost of the
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of City of Chula Vista
does hereby transfer $55,000 from Capital Improvement Project DR-127 (Drainage
Improvements - Tobias Drive/ Glenhaven Way), to the new Capital Improvement Project
STL-285 (Ouintard Street) to finance preconstruction costs.
