ROLL CALL PRESENT: Commissioner Gonzales, Fish, Co-Chair Starr, and Chair Gersten ABSENT: Commissioner Carbuccia OTHERS: Lynnette Tessitore, President of the Chula Vista Mid-Managers/ Professional Association CONSENT CALENDAR (Items 1-3) The Commission will enact the Consent Calendar staff recommendations by one motion, without discussion, unless a Commissioner, a member of the public, or staff requests that an item be removed for discussion. Items pulled from the Consent Calendar will be discussed immediately following the Consent Calendar. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of June 7, 2018 Staff recommendation: Commission approves the minutes. ACTION: Commissioner Fish moved to approve staff’s recommendation. Commissioner Gonzales seconded the motion, and it carried by the following vote: Yes: 4 – Gonzales, Fish, Starr, Gersten No: 0 Abstain: 0 2. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS A. E-mail from Chair Gersten requesting an excused absence from the June 7, 2018 regular Civil Service Commission Meeting. Staff recommendation: Commission excuses the absence. Storm Water Environmental Specialist I (ACE) Staff recommendation: Commission approves the new classification. ACTION: Commissioner Fish moved to approve staff’s recommendation.
