MEETING WITH COUNCIL MEMBER CASTANEDA TO
DISCUSS RECOMMENDATIONS AND TEXT
INTRODUCTIONS (15 min) Gives members an opportunity to introduce
themselves and talk about their involvement in the CCWG/ measure
selection process.
RECAP of MEASURE SELECTION PROCESS (10 min) Carla will give a
brief presentation on how the CCWG process was structured and how the
group arrived at its’ final recommendations.
DISCUSSION/ PRESENTATION OF INDIVIDUAL MEASURES (80 min
or 8 min per measure, broken down as follows)
3 min: Working group members introduce measure and read measure
text out-loud.
4 min: discussion and revision of measure, in dialogue with Council
Member Castaneda
1 min: insert revisions into text/ make amendments to measure
The order for the presentation of the measures:

facilitate smart growth around the H Street, E
Street, and Palomar Street Trolley Stations.

coordinate with Otay Water District, San
Diego County Water Authority and the
Sweetwater Authority on turf lawn
conversions for commercial and residential
properties.

hydrogen, CNG) into municipal fleet. Alan

Recommend that the City of Chula Vista work
with fleets under City authority to influence
to expand their use of alternative fuels and
alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs).

organization of the final report and format for presentation to council.
