INTRODUCTIONS (15 min) Council Member Castaneda was not able to
attend due to a conflict at work. He is scheduled to attend the next meeting.
RECAP of MEASURE SELECTION PROCESS (10 min) Carla gave brief
presentation on how the CCWG process was structured and how the group
arrived at its’ final recommendations.
DISCUSSION/ PRESENTATION OF INDIVIDUAL MEASURES (80 min
or 8 min per measure, broken down as follows)
The order for the presentation of the measures was as follows:

conversions for commercial and residential
properties.

Recommend that the City of Chula Vista work
with fleets under City authority to influence
to expand their use of alternative fuels and
alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs).

To read a rough summary of the Working Group comments on specific
measures, please see Measure Text Comments from 1.30.08.doc attached.
The Working Group decided to combine measures 1, 4 and 5 in to a single
measure. In its final form, this combined measure will have three diff erent
implementation scenarios, each with a different level of rigor. Measures 2
and 3 will also be combined into a single measure.
NEXT STEPS (15 min) The next Climate Change Working Group Meeting
will be held on Monday February 11, 2008 from 3-5 in the Public Works
Building Lunch Room. Council Member Castaneda is expected to attend.
