It is dedicated to the Memory of Chula Vista and South Bay Heroes. See attached Picture of the 1950 Dedication Plaque that is on the W'ly side of the Chula Vista War Memorial. The War Memorial was re- dedicated in 1986. My cousin's name Samuel N. Wolfsdorf— Korea KIA US Army Veteran is already listed on this War Memorial. I got his name added circa 2004. Robert D. White assisted me with this effort. My cousin Sammy Wolfsdorf lived in San Ysidro and attended Chula Vista High School - Class of 1950. You can read his biography on the City of Chula Vista Memorial Website. https://www.chulavistaca.g_ov/residents/veteran-community/veterans-memorial-hall Here's some info I found from my 2015 e-mails when I attended the City of Chula Vista (VAC) Veterans Advisory Commission meeting on August 19,2015. 1 am following up on this 2015 Request. If you haven't seen the options or had a chance to provide your input on the future Chula Vista bayfront parks, please take a look at the message from the Port, below. Friday, October 26 is the deadline for comments. Thank you to everyone who has provided feedback regarding the design for the future Harbor and Sweetwater Parks on the Chula Vista Bayfront! If you haven't yet had a chance to complete the surveys, you can do so until Friday, October 26 at 5 p.m. at portofsandiego.org/chulavistabayfront. Don't forget there are two surveys— one for Harbor Park and one for Sweetwater Park. The presentations that were given for each park at the September 27 Design Workshop are also available to view. They contain examples of the types of activities and amenities to choose from in the surveys. Your input will help the Port of San Diego and the City of Chula Vista determine how to best balance recreational wants and needs for these spaces with equally important efforts to preserve Chula Vista's natural resources for future generations. We look forward to your feedback.
