Manuel presented onthe seven initiatives inthe plan. After discussion and questions to staff, it was felt that this document needs to �mo buck to sb/T[br a rembo.ctucuand rop/riteto include additional dc{oi|m. The motion was seconded byCommissioner K]nmandcunicdwiih the following vote: Yo—O Page/oj'r aominobiotVCommission miji"*z No—4 Matthias, McMillin, Mora and Valen Abstain —0 ACTIVITY REPORT none STAFF COMMENTS Senior Conservation Specialist Wisniewski reported on the following items: media event on March 27 at 10:00 am to be held in City Hall complex for the new EV chargers that have been installed along with fifteen i c v FV cars. Gave update on nominations for the CLEAN Sustainability Champion Awards, deadline for nominations is March 30. South Bay Earth Day is being held on April 7 along with a community bike tour event. Senior Recycling Specialist Medrano reported on the following items: new stainless steel recycle containers were received and in the upcoming months will be distributed in City Hall, Library. Friendship Park and Memorial Bowl. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS Commissioner Matthias stressed the need to promote the CLEAN Sustainability Champion Awards and 2et more nominations submitted. Commissioner Mora requested additional information concerning the bike ride tour taking plaice on South Bay Earth Day.
