The Commission met in regular session on the
above date, at 7.30 P.M. , in the Council Chambers of the
City Hall, with Chairman i.-ohnson presiding.
Present : 1fiembers Tolnibon, Griffin, Parke , Smith,
Starkey, Chase; EX-Officios Riesland and Bryant , and City
.i;ttor-_---ey, 'Keith Atherton. Absent None.
!;Minutes of the regula:: meeting held January
1945, when read by the clerk, were approved as read.
RE-APPOINUTv'fEENT OF PLANNING COL-IiISSION CII Iitil moi:
The Chairmanship having been declared vacant ,
Upon motion by Mjej.iiber StarIK-ey, seconded by
!�,[ember Chase , which carried, lvi-.r. H.H.Tohnson was reappointed
Chairman of the Planning Commission, under the terms of
Ordinance No.334 which became effective on the 13th day of
December, 1944.
VICE-CHAIR AN: Upon motion by I'vieraber Chase,
seconded by Member Smith, which carried, Dr. Robert K,. Griffin
was appointed Vice-Chairman of the City Planning CoiMission.
C ORDREY-IZaTUFACTUR ING CO. TE1,,,,'PORARY STRUCTURE:
It was unanimously recormliended that a temporary
P�rm.it be issued iarxordrey to repair his property at
Davidson and Twin Oaks, which was recently destroyed by fire,
This permit to be made for a period of eighteen months,
at which time, the entire structure shall be removed.
IvUSTER PLANS: Upon motion by iaember Chase ,
seconded by Member Parke , which carried, it vias moved that
the City Planning Commission recommend to the council that
they take immediate steps to bring existing I'T-� Plans
up-to-date.
Following the business of the evening, George
Ray, Planning Director, being present , brought up several
items of thought, which were discussed at length.
