HomeMy WebLinkAbout1945-02-19 PC MINS IMMTES OF TBE AUTOUMD REGULAR FETING OF THE PLANNING COIUSSION OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA, HELD FEBRUARY 19, 1945 � The Commission met in the Council Cha*hers of the City Hall, at anadjourned regular meeting Monday, February 19, 1945, at 7.30 o'clock P.M., with Chairman Tohnson presiding. Present: Members Griffin, Johnson, Smith, Chase, Parke. Absent: Member Starkey and Ex Officios Riesland and Bryant. TENTATIVE PLA13S FOR HARBOR DEVELOPMENT The Clerk read a letter from Mr. T.B.McIses, County Clerk, addressed to Mr. L.W.Deewall, Engineer of County Planning Commission, in which tentative approval was given to the proposed Harbor Development as outlined to the Board of Supervisors along the Bay between the Cities of Chula Vista and National City. Upon motion by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Chase, which carried, tentative approval of the plans submitted on Harbor Development by Mr.Deewall, County Planning Commission, was given. SUB-COAMTTEES TO CONSIDER MASTER PLAN: Upon motion by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Chase, which carried, it was moved that the commission proceed with the organization of Sub-Committees to consider the Master Plan for the City of Chula Vista, and that each member of this Commission nominate twenty (20) citizens who would be, in his own. opinion, good committee members, prior to the next meeting, namely, March 5, 1945. Mr.,George Ray, Planning Commission Director, then presented a proposed list of plans as set forth belo s each member selecting his own group of plans for his particular committee.
