HomeMy WebLinkAbout1945-11-05 PC MINS 0 PIBNU W OF REGULAR MEETING OF CHULA VISTA PLANNING COD!MISSION, HELD NOW-MER 51 1945 The Commission met in regular session on the above date , at 7.30 p.m., in the Council Chamber of the City Hall, with Chairman Johnson presiding. Present: Members Johnson, Griffin, Smith, Chase. Absent: Member Starkey. Mr.E.Charles Parke having resigned from the Commission as an official Member, was present for epnsultation. Also present were: ExmOfficio Umber Riesland, City Attorney Atherton, and City Manager George C.Ray. Minutes of the Regular Meeting held October 1, 1945, having been prepared and mailed to each member of the Commission, were approves as prepared and mailed. ED JAINCIER PRESENTS TENTATIVE MAP FOR SUBDIVISION. Upon motion by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Chase, it was moved that the above matter be referred to City Attorney Atherton for his advice. Carried. Mr.Yawger then left the meeting, after which Yjr.Atherton arrived, It was then moved by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Johnson, following advice by Attorney Atherton, and carried, that the plans sub- mitted by Mr.Ed.Yawger for subdivision of property described as Lot 13-A (Except 13A-1 to 13A-3) in Quarterseetion 123, in the City of Chula Vista, located at Hilltop Drive and H Street , be denied. The clerk was then instructed to vsite Mr.Yawger to this effect. CIVIC CENTER SITE: Upon motion by Member Smith, seconded by Member Griffin, and carried, it was moved that a Resolution be passed kecommending':to the':Counctl.:4hat:"? he AV. 6 of be_"=ins �rueted to proceed with the preparations of the plans for the Civic Center Buildings to be located on the. site known as bounded by Fourth Avenue and Davidson to extension of Fig Avenue, REMOVAL OF TREES': The clerk read a letter from Mr. Boyd Fouser, requesting the removal of two trees from the parking in front of his property at 109 Madison Avenue, Chula Vista. Upon motion by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Smith, which carried, the request was denied. ADJOUIMiENT: Upon motion by Member Griffin, seconded by Member Chase, th meeting adjournedt sine die. Clerk
