A REVISED r AGENDA Resource Conservation Commission Chula Vista, California Monday, April 21, 2008 Ken Lee Building Conference Room 4.30 p.m. 430 'F' Street' CALL MEETING TO ORDER ROLL CALL/MOTION TO EXCUSE: Chair Stanley Jasek Vice-Chair Eric Mosolgo , Commissioners Douglas Reid , Georgie Stillman Lynda Gilgun , Brett Davis and Richie Macias, Jr. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS: An opportunity for members of the public to speak to the Resource Conservation Commission on any subject matter within the Commission's jurisdiction but not an item on today's agenda. Each speaker's presentation may not exceed three minutes. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: February 4, 2008 Amend the minutes of April 16, 2007 item No. 3, IS-06-013- St. Rose of Lima Catholic School and Church Complex, 293 "H" Street. Commissioners Reid, Jasek and Davis recused themselves due to potential conflicts of interest. Change vote on motion to reflect abstinence as follows: MSC (Stillman/Macias) that the RCC find that the Initial Study is adequate with regards to the St. Rose Lima Parish Mitigated Negative Declaration. Vote: (4-0-3-0)with Reid,Jasek and Davis recused. MSC(Stillman/Gilgun)that the RCC ask that the future architecture for the new parish building incorporate the current.existing architectural mission theme. Vote: (4-0-3-0)with Reid,Jasek and Davis recused. NEW BUSINESS 1. IS-04-033 —Hilltop Terrace, 409 Telegraph Canyon Road Trust (Maria Muett) Staff Recommendation: That the RCC determine that the Initial Study is adequate and recommend that the Mitigated Negative Declaration be adopted. 2. IS-06-025 --Bonita Gateway, 260 Bonita Road (Maria Muett) Staff Recommendation: That the RCC determine that the Initial Study is adequate and recommend that the,Mitigated Negative Declaration be adopted. 3. Acceptance of Climate Change Working Groups Final Recommendations Report. (Michael Meacham/Brendan Reed) RCC Agenda April 21, 2008 - Page 2 Staff Recommendation: That the RCC accept the CCWG's Final Recommendations Report. � 4. Budget Reorganization/Process Streamlining: RCC Roles and Responsibilities (Michael Meacham/Marisa Lundstedt) .Staff to discuss RCC's proposed role in conservation and resource programs INFORMATION ITEMS 5.
