PUBLIC COMMENTS
Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Board/Commission on any
subject matter within the Board/Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the
agenda. State law generally prohibits the Board/Commission from discussing or taking
action on any issue -not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Board/Commission
may_ schedule the topic for futurediscussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are
limited to three minutes.

The Item(s) listed in this section of the agenda will be considered . individually by the
Board/Commission and are expected to elicit discussion and deliberation. If you wish to
speak on any item, please fill out a "Request to Speak" form and submit it to the Secretary

1. Discussion and action to appoint prior panel attorneys Roger Geddes and Leslie Devaney
for a second term to the Chula Vista. Municipal Code ("CVMC") section 2.52 Campaign
Contribution Ordinance Enforcement Authority Attorney Panel.
2. Discussion and action to increase_: number of attorneys assigned to the CVMC 2.52
Campaign Contribution' Ordinance Enforcement Authority Attorney Panel from five (5)
to six (6) in the Board of Ethics Campaign Contribution Enforcement Authority Section
Process Policy.
1 declare under penalty of perjury that I am employed by
the City of Chula Vista in the Office of the CityAttorney
and that I posted this document on the bulletin board at
the City Hall according to Brown Act requirements.

3. Discussion and action on the following: (1) interviews of Alena Shamos, Bruce Bartram,
Gary Schons, and Jill Edwards ("Applicants) regarding appointment to CVMC 2.52
Campaign Contribution Ordinance Enforcement Authority Attorney Panel and (2)
selection from Applicants to appoint to (and subsequent appointment to) the CVMC 2.52
Campaign Contribution Ordinance Enforcement Authority Attorney Panel.
4. Discussion and action on the following: Random drawing to select order of case
(complaint) assignments to attorneys who serve on the CVMC 2.52 Campaign
Contribution Ordinance Enforcement Authority Attorney Panel.
