1. MEETING CALL TO ORDER
2. MEMBERS PRESENT Chair Villa, _P_, Commissioner Turner _P_, David _P_, Winters _P_,

3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Hearing no objections, the Minutes of March 9th and March 30th were
approved.
MSC (DAVIDAMNTERS) 5-0 to approve minutes.
4. APPROVAL OF EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENTS
1609 PROM ASSISTANT PLANNER
1610 OPEN ASSOCIATE PLANNER
1611 OPEN PLANNING TECHNICIAN II
MSC (DAVIDIMONAGHAN) 5-0 to approve Examination Announcements for April.
1613 OPEN POLICE REPORT TRANSCRIPTION
MSC (DAVID/WINTERS) 5-0 to approve Examination Announcement for May.
5. APPROVAL OF ELIGIBLE LIST

MSC (DAVIDITURNER) 5-0 to approve the Eligible Lists for April.

MSC (DAVIDITURNER) 5-0 to approve the Eligible Lists for May.
6. NEW BUSINESS -
a. Request approval for an Exceptional Merit Increase for Leticia Lazo, Administrative Office
Assistant I from Step "B" to Step "0" effective April 14,1995.
MSC (WINTERSIDAVID) to approve Exceptional Merit Increase for Leticia Lazo, Administrative Office
Assistant 1 from Step "B" to Step "D" effective April 14,1995.
b. Request approval to Extend the Eligibility Lists for Police Agent and Police Sergeant to May
3, 1995 from Chief Emerson.
No action was taken due to date lapse.
a. Request to Extend the Eligibility list for Police Lieutenant until June 30, 1995 submitted by
Chief Emerson.
MSC (DAVIDITURNER) 5-0 to approve the Extension of the Eligibility List for Police Lieutenant until
June 30,1995.
7. OTHER BUSINESS -
a. Appeal - No discussion.
8. CHAIR'S COMMENTS - NONE
9. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS - Mr. Winters will not be attending the June 8th meeting.
10. PUBLIC COMMENTS - Mr. Mesca will submit a letter regarding the outcome of the Library employee
issue as promised to the Civil Service Commission.
11. ADJOURNMENT The Civil Service Commission will adjourn to the next regular scheduled meeting
on June 8, 1995 in the Mayor's Conference Room, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
