MEETING CALL TO ORDER 2, MEMBERS PRESENT Chair Villa, P�, Commissioner Turner P_, David P_, Winters _Z-, Monaghan Mr. Villa arrived late (5:25 p.m.) 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Hearing no objections, the Special Minutes of July 15th, July 16th, May 9th and May 22nd were approved. MSC(DAVID/WINTERS) 4-0 to approve the minutes of July 15th, July 16th, May 9th, and May 22nd. 4. APPROVAL OF EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENTS 1652 Open Gardener 1 1653 Prom Custodian II 1656 Open Administrative Office Specialist (Part-time) 1657 Open Librarian 1 1658 Open Sr. Library Technical Assistant 1659 Open Sr. Circulation Assistant (Part-time) 1660 Open Library Associate 1661 Open Administrative Office Assistant II 1663 Open Administrative Office Assistant 1664 Open Parking Control Officer 1665 Open Parking Operations Officer (Part-time) MSC(DAVID/MONAGHAN) 4-0 To approve the Examination Announcements (Villa late) 5. APPROVAL OF ELIGIBLE LIST NONE 6. NEW BUSINESS - A. City Employee Appeal of Discipline (CSC.004). This appeal has been scheduled for August 15, 1996 at 5:30 p.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room. Mr. Villa nor Mr. Monaghan are not available for this hearing. 7. OTHER BUSINESS 8. CHAIR'S COMMENTS Mr. Villa wants to know what the rule is on getting the appeal materials prior to the actual hearing. Ms. Emerson said we have, in the past, distributed material prior to the hearing. She said that she does not know of any rule restricting the distribution of material prior to an appeal hearing. Ms. Emerson said that she will check with the Attorney's office and will get something back in writing for the Commissioners. 9. COMMISSIONERS' COMMENTS 10. PUBLIC COMMENTS 11.
