Mr. Noble feels that employees with substandard performance should not be allowed to continue with employment.
Ms. Gray stated that she extended the probation to give the employees an opportunity to be trained properly by staff.
Commission Turner stated that he has the same concerns that of Commissioner Noble regarding substandard work performance.
The Commissioners discussion centered around possible alternatives for the employee, possible demotion resulting from failing the
probation period, demotion to B&H Inspector/Code Enforcement Officer I and the commission's calendar should the employees bring
these item to the board. Commissioner Chidester asked if the employees were fully aware of the possible actions by the department
or the Commission.
Mr. Remp stated that the employees have been notified of the possible actions of both the department and/or the Commission.

will inform the commissioner should there be a need to meet again on issue 7A.
