A. Workshop For City Board & Commission Members
Sharon Marshall, Assistant City Attorney discussed topics that will be presented at the workshop. She encouraged the
Commissioners to attend. Commissioner Chidester, Saucedo, and Silva will be attending.

Commissioner Chidester thanked staff for the distribution of the information.
Motion to elected Commissioner Triplette and Commissioner Silva as Chair and Vice -Chair.
MSC(CHIDESTERITRIPLETTE) 4-0 to elect Commissioner Triplette as Chair and Commissioner Silva as Vice -Chair.

C. Staff Comments
Staff wished him well on his retirement.
Marcia Raskin, Director of Human Resources also stated that the findings and decisions on the recent hearing have been mailed to
the appellants representative and staff is waiting for a response. Ms. Raskin also stated that an individual chose not to appeal their
discipline. This individual had until Monday to submit an appeal.
Marcia Raskin, Director of Human Resources explained the termination process. And how that information is communicated to other
co-workers. Discussion also continued on rehabilitation options for the separated employees.

9. ADJOURNMENT —To adjourn to the next regular meeting of the Commission scheduled on March 11, 2004, in the HR
Conference Room, 276 fourth Avenue, Chula Vista.
