Commissioner Chidester stated that the heading on the list was different and asked if there was a reason for that. Staff will generate
a new list with the correct information and be available for the next meeting.
Motion to approve the Eligible List with the correction of 03-175 Police Services Office list.
MSC (SAUCEDOITRIPLETTE) 4-0 To approve the Eligible List.
6. NEW BUSINESS -
A. Appeal of Discipline by City Employee (CSC.035)
Ms. Raskin, Director of Human Resources stated that the parties have mutually agreed to move the date and staff will contact the
commission for scheduling the appeal.
7. OTHER BUSINESS -
A. City Newsletter and Communication Notices
B. Staffing Reports
Chair Triplette asked what is the maximum number of hours for temporary personnel. Ms. Bacon, Assistant Director of Human Resources
responded that it was 999 hours per fiscal year. Discussion continued with regards to the staffing report and vacancies.

8. COMMUNICATIONS
A. Chair's Comments
Chair Triplette commented that he was very happy regarding is 5 year plan for retirement.
B. 'Commissioners' Comments
• Commissioner Saucedo commented that he attended the Grand opening of the new police facilities. He also mentioned that he went
through the tour and was very impressed by the new building.
Ms. Raskin, Director of Human Resources explained the next phase of construction for City Hall and the anticipated move of Human
Resources.
C. Staff Comments
Ms. Raskin, Director of Human Resources stated that staff has forward two names to the Mayor's office for consideration to fill the fifth
seat on the commission.
D. Public Comments - None
9. ADJOURNMENT — To adjourn to the next regular meeting of the Commission scheduled on June 10, 2004, in the Human
Resources Conference Room, 276 Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista.
