APPROVAL OF MINUTES — MSC (Redo/Gore) 5-0 approving the minutes of October 9, 2000 The Agenda was taken out of order. The items discussed were: NEW BUSINESS a. Port District Commissioner David Malcolm presented plans for the Port Arts "Olympic Walk of Fame" proposal for the Chula Vista Bayfront b. War Memorial Proposal — Commissioner Flach distributed a Proposal for a Memorial To Honor All Chula Vista who have honorably served in the service of any branch of the United States Forces. MSC (Redo/Flach) 5-0 to explore and determine whether to establish and develop a Sub -Committee to accomplish the possibility of a memorial for Chula Vista Veterans. h. Performing & Visual Arts Task Force Update — The Performing & Visual Arts Fund Grant application process for 2001 Calendar was distributed. The Application Form for Community Use Days Coors Amphitheater 2000-2001 form was distributed. These funds is can be reallocate and used next year. The Commission was reminded to find ideas in order to use these funds. Taste of the Arts by the Bay artist/vendor application form for April 7, 2001 was distributed. 2. OLD BUSINESS a. Recruitment of new CAC Board Member — continued b. Commission use of the 18 community use days at the Coors Amphitheater — continued 3. NEW BUSINESS b. Juried art show at "Taste of the Arts" — continued c.
