The September minutes were approved as written.
5. ACTION ITEMS
Unfinished Business
is a. Mr. Scott Burress
No report, will continue to next meeting.
b. Bridge Naming
Steve Milliken had a plan in mind for plaques, project is moving well.
c. Veterans Park
No action until June of 2004.
d. Veterans Home Update
Approaching capacity, 15 to 20 residents will reach capacity. Everyone from Barstow has arrived.
e. CWHSF Update
$6,000 was approved for Christmas party, $10,000 is the goal
f. Legislative Reports
No action taken.
g. Veteran of the Year.
Mayor sent apology for lack of proclamation. Plaque will be presented at luncheon.
h. Broadway Fundraiser
Tickets need to be sold.
• i. Coronado Parade for July Fourth
Chula Vista representation needed for parade. Volunteer has not been identified. Still open for discussion.

j. Walkathon
Will be held November 8, 2003 9:00 am at Veteran's home. 100% proceeds will go to the Veteran's home.
k. Veteran's Day Parade
November 11th Downtown San Diego starting at I lam beginning at the County building, down Harbor Street.

Mr. Keith mailed out Veteran's Grand Prix flyer. A chairman/sponsor is needed to support/raise additional funds.
