Casillas P John Acosta P Gene Pellerin P Stephen Sprenkle P , 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES , ACTION ITEMS Steve Millikin Update -Update will be given at February's meeting. Chula Vista Memorial Park Veteran's names- AY Casillas mentioned there are several veteran names requiring research on whether or not they qualify. Some of the names were Fidel Flores and Legrand Quick. AY mentioned that Flores is too close the name Flowers, which is an existing street in Chula Vista. Gene Pellerin and AY Casillas will follow-up. Chula Vista Street naming -Gene Pellerin mentioned Bob White forwarded all records and spreadsheets that he had regarding the street names and bios. Gene will also contact Bob White regarding points of contact. Select a commission meeting date for next month- Next month's Veteran's Commission meeting will be held at the Veteran's home. Gene Pellerin will talk to John Smith to arrange that. Future dates for commission meetings at the veteran's home will be discussed at next month's meeting. Bricks at Veteran's Park- AY Casillas stated the Veteran's Home Foundation will be in charge of arranging the bricks in the Walk of Honor in the Veteran',s Park. Bob White, President of the Veteran's Home Foundation suggested the commission draft a letter requesting the rearranging of bricks to group family members together. The motion for drafting the letter was approved by the commission members present. 5. COMMUNICATIONS CHAIR'S COMMENTS COMISSIONERS COMMENTS.
