Steve Sprenkle moved to approve minutes of September 16, 2013 as written. Commissioner Tony Stewart
seconded the motion, and it carried by the following vote:
Yes: 5 —Blum, Sprenkle, Acosta, Jensen, Stewart
ACTION ITEMS
• Commissioner Whitehead read the Veterans Activities Report for October.
• DVBE policy update: No update.
• Third Avenue flag brackets: Gary Ficacci proposed that representatives from City engineer, VAC, TAVA, VAC,
VFW meet to come to an agreement on where to place the flag brackets and to discuss the purchase of the
brackets.
• Board and Commission Liaison Training: Updated Brown Act information given.
