Items pulled from the Consent Calendar will be discussed immediately following the Consent Calendar. 1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES of May 29, 2012 Staff recommendation: Commission approve the minutes. 2. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL ADJUSTMENT (STAFFING) REPORTS: 1201120, 1201130, 1201140, 1201150, 1201160, 1201170, 1201180, 1201190, 1201200 Staff recommendation: Commission approve the staffing reports. 3. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVAL OF ELIGIBLE LISTS: A. ASSOCIATE ENGINEER—TRAFFIC SIGNAL (RECRUITMENT #12601706) B. CONSERVATION SPECIALIST (RECRUITMENT #12620008) C. FINGERPRINT TECHNICIAN (RECRUITMENT #12512306) D. POLICE DISPATCHER (RECRUITMENT #11518112) E. POLICE RECRUIT (RECRUITMENT #12507102) F. RECORDS MANAGER (RECRUITMENT #12221105) G. ITEMS REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT CALENDAR PUBLIC COMMENTS Persons speaking during Public Comments may address the Commission on any agenda matter within the Commission's jurisdiction that is not listed as an item on the agenda. State law generally prohibits the Commission from discussing or taking action on any issue not included on the agenda, but, if appropriate, the Commission may schedule the topic for future discussion or refer the matter to staff. Comments are limited to three minutes. ACTION ITEMS The item(s) listed in this section of the agenda will be considered individually by the Commission and are expected to elicit discussion and deliberation. If you wish to speak on any item, please advise the Chairperson prior to the meeting. 4. CONSIDERATION OF APPROVING AN EXTENSION OF THE POLICE AGENT ELIGIBLE LIST Staff recommendation: Commission approve the extension. ELECTION OF CHAIR AND VICE CHAIR FOR FISCAL YEAR 2013 Staff recommendation: Commission elect a chair and vice chair for fiscal year 2013. 6. NOMINATION OF THREE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION APPLICANTS TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL TO FILL THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION VACANCY FOR THE SEAT VACATED BY COMMISSIONER BRANNAN PURSUANT TO CVMC 2.43.050 Staff recommendation: Commission nominate three applicants to be considered by the City Council to fill the vacant seat on the Commission.
