The special meeting of the Civil Service Commission of the City of Chula Vista was called to
order at 5:00 p.m. in Conference Room B 129, located in the Public Services North Bldg C at 276
Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California.

PRESENT: Commissioner Carbuccia, Gonzales, Co -Chair Starr and Chair Gersten
ABSENT: None
OTHERS: Human Resources Director Chase

1. APPEAL HEARING OF CITY EMPLOYEE DISCIPLINE (DISMISSAL) PER CIVIL
SERVICE RULE 1.08 D AND GOVERNMENT CODE SECTION 54957(B)(1).
ACTION: Adjourned to closed session
ADJOURNMENT
Adjourned the special meeting to the regular meeting on August 3, 2017 at 5:15 p.m., in
Conference Room B129, Public Services Building North Bldg. C, at City Hall, 276
Fourth Avenue, Chula Vista, California.
