HomeMy WebLinkAboutRDA Reso 1999-1645 RESOLUTION 1645 RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF CHULA VISTA ADOPTING NEGATIVE DECLARATION IS-00-01 AND APPROVING OWNER PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT NITH MR. LORETO ROMERO FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDLISTRIAL BUILDING LOCATED AT 1480 FRONTAGE ROAD WITHIN I-HE SOUTHWEST REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA WHEREAS, Mr. Loreto Romero owns the property at 1480 Fronl age Road, which is diagrammatically shown in the Locator Map attached to the Owner Participation Agreement ~nd incorporated herein by reference; and, WHEREAS, Mr. Romero has presented development plans for the construction of an 11,890-square foot industrial building and associated lot improvements ("Project"); and WHEREAS, the site for the proposed Project is located within tte Southwest Redevelopment Project Area under the jurisdiction and control of the Chula Vista Redevelopment A ]ency; and, WHEREAS, the Environmental Review Coordinator reviewed the ~roposed Project and issued Negative Declaration IS-00-01 for the project in accordance with CEQA; and, WHEREAS, the Design Review Committee reviewed and rec )mmended that the Redevelopment Agency approve the proposed Project subject to the conditions listed in Exhibit B of the Owner Participation Agreement; and, WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Chula ~'ista has been presented an Owner Participation Agreement, said agreement being on file in the Office of he Secretary to the Redevelopment Agency and known as document RACO 99-06, approving the constructi( n of an 11,890-square foot industrial building located at 1480 Frontage Road, depicted in Exhibit A and subject ) conditions listed in Exhibits B of said agreement. NOW, THEREFORE, THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF [-HE CITY OF CHULA VISTA does hereby find, order, determine and resolve as follows: 1. The proposed project will not have a significant impact on e environment; accordingly Negative Declaration IS-00-01 was prepared and is hereby adopted in ;cordance with CEQA. 2. The proposed project is consistent with the Southwest Rede,~ opment Plan and shall implement the purpose thereof. 3. The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Chula Vista here ~)y approves the Owner Participation Agreement with Mr. Loreto Romero for the construction of a 11,890-sc uare foot industrial building at 1480 Frontage Road, in the form presented in accordance with plans attache thereto as Exhibit A and subject to conditions listed in Exhibits B of said agreement. 4. The Chairman of the Redevelopment Agency is hereby auti' )rized to execute the subject Owner Participation Agreement between the Redevelopment Agency and Mr. Lore ~o Romero. 5. The Secretary of the Redevelopment Agency is authorize¢ and directed to record said Owner Participation Agreement in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego, California.
